I really hate this question, not matter what you say, it seems cliche, or needy. It really does depend on the people. Something semi-quiet so that you can talk and get to know one another. Dinner, maybe a movie, home and garden show? Pro football hall of fame, rock and roll hall of fame? You know as a female, I'm stupid if I don't put a public place. If its too "romantic" I come off as desperate, if I come off to "easy", well...need I say more?
