Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som

5'2", red hair, considered overweight by doctors, but definately not obese. Mature figure. I would enjoy someone who can be open to new experiences. They can be something very simple like cooking a meal together and watching tv for a quiet evening, or going someplace that is not customary for you. I would like someone who is not afraid of new experiences. He should be able to go with the flow. If that means taking an art course together, or learning how to dance (line, ballroom, even square) I enjoy learning new things. One of my interest is learning how to better utilize my computer and would hope you would enjoy doing the same. I am an oil painter, but I have also worked in acrylics and watercolors. I love refinishing wood furniture. I am knowledgable in many areas of remodeling a home, such as insulating, putting up drywall, simple electrial repairs. My father was a builder and I loved working with him. I learned how to lay cement, install a roof and it is exciting for me to take something and make it more beautiful with my own hands. I am a seamstress and teach young girls or women to sew. My nicknames are "Shorty" which my family calls me because they are all tall. I am skilled at many kinds of crafts. so they sometimes call me Crafty. I have 3 children (50. 48. 41) 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Family is very important to me and I cannot see my self in a relationship with a man who doesn't feel the same. I am looking for someone who is a sociable person, though there are times when it is nice to be alone. I worked for a major company as an Administrative Secretary for 37 years and am now retired. I have a reputation for being an empathetic person. I do volunteer work for Alzhiemer's. My life is full and busy. I never get bored, but there is always room to develope new relationships. I feel we were put on this earth to be social and lend help or just listen when that is needed. I get excited over small things just as much as something big. I tend to be easy going in my personality, but very active in what I get involved with. I never go half way. If I take on something new, I give it my all. Even if I'm not totally successful I'm glad I at least tried. My status has been divorced for 40 years. I had two long-term relationships over thse years, but for various reasons did not remarry. That was not something I planned on (not re-marrying) it just wasn't in the cards. Which by the way, is another thing I like to do, play cards, I am an excellent cook, but don't like to cook for just one. There are so many things I could talk about, but let save some for any future talks.

Det jag tycker är kul är

talking, spending time with friends for an evening. Going to mass and watch my grandaughter serve as an altar girl. I enjoy taking sign language classes, when offered. My son is deaf and so is my grandson. I like to sing in the choir. Cooking with my son who is a gourmet cook and baker. I like taking a walk by the lake or sit outside and listen to music when the have a series called "Animal Crackers". I love going to plays, grade school to professional. They are all fun. I enjoy foreign films and even a good adult film if it has a story line. I love taveling, but have not had the opportunity to do alot. I can honestly say there is very little I don't like to do, except being in the cold. I'm a summer gal.

Vad letar du efter?

Money is nice, only because if you don't have any it prevents you from doing many things you would like to. But it is no a super high priority as long as you have enough to live in comfort. This doesn't meant luxury.
